ONE OF A KIND!

Think what an amazing and extraordinary thing it is to be you! Of all the people who have come and gone on the earth, since the start of time, not ONE of them is like YOU!

Everyone has their own unique qualities.

No one who has ever lived or is to come has had your combination of abilities, talents, appearance, friends, acquaintances, burdens, sorrows and opportunities.

No, one’s hair grows exactly the way yours does. No one’s finger prints are similar as yours. No one has the similar combination of secret inside jokes and family expressions that you know. The few people who laugh at all the same things you do; don’t sneeze the way you do. Don’t eat the way you do, and don’t sleep the way you do. No one prays about exactly the same concerns as you do. No one is loved by the same combination of people that love you – NO ONE!

NO ONE BEFORE – AND NO ONE TO COME – You are absolutely one of a kind! You have to seize the moment and savor your uniqueness. You do not have to mock someone or pretend that you are somebody. You are not meant to be the same. You do not have to lie to conceal the parts of you that are not like what you see in anyone else.

You were meant to be different. Nowhere ever in all of history of mankind will the same things be going on in anyone’s mind, soul and spirit as are going on in yours right now. If you did not exist, there would be a hole in creation, a gap in history, something missing from the plan for humankind. Nurture and seize the moment of your uniqueness. It is the only gift that is given to you. You have to savor it.

No one can reach out to others in the same way that you can. No one can speak your words. No one can convey your meanings. No one can comfort with your kind of comfort. No one can bring your kind of understanding to another person. No one can be funky and light hearted in your manners. No one can mimic your own smile. Signature, isn’t it? No one else can supplement the whole package to another individual.

Share your uniqueness. Let it be freely flowing out among your family and friends and people you meet in the rush and clutter of living wherever you are. God has given this kind of gift to you so you have to enjoy and make the most out of it, and of course, you have to share it. You have to give yourself away.

See it! Receive it! Let it tickle you! Let it inform you and nudge you and inspire you! YOU

ARE UNIQUE!

Power of Self-Confidence

Self-confidence or self-esteem is an individual’s conviction in his own skills and power of judgment. Simply put, if you believe in yourself, you possess self-confidence.

If you don’t trust your abilities, and you always have doubts and fears about yourself, you must be suffering from lack of self-confidence. Furthermore, you are also uncertain of yourself and constantly hesitate when you need to take care of your responsibilities.

On the other hand, a confident person makes an excellent leader; he encourages people to depend on his own capabilities. He also has authority over his emotions and regularly rises to the top effortlessly.

Although it is pretty normal to feel excited yet scared when you’re taking on a new task, or anything new for that matter, a self-assured person would look at it as an opportunity in a cool, composed manner – without any detracting thoughts, such as “what if I fail?” and “what if people don’t like what I do?” In short, there shouldn’t be any apprehensions and excuses.

Reminiscent of your first day at school, stepping into unfamiliar grounds is undoubtedly scary. Of course it is, but how can it not be? Taking a plunge into untested waters gives anyone the creeps. It’s human nature.

However, being human does not give you the leeway to shy away from being daring and pushing yourself to be much more of what you can be. Beat yourself! If you have that blazing desire, passion and eagerness to accomplish something, nothing and no one in the world could prevent you – except YOU.

Living Your Life with Purpose

Happiness is a perfume you cannot pour on others without getting a few drops on yourself. – Ralph Waldo Emerson

Living a purposeful life has numerous benefits and rewards. It primarily adds significance to every little thing you do, and shows that you are on the right path towards discovering the “Amazing You.” Apart from uncovering a clear direction in which you should head, it also provides fulfillment, which is very crucial to staying happy and content, and is definitely a great motivational factor.

Nevertheless, failure and rejection are part and parcel of life. No one ever said that life is a bed of roses. Along the way, there could be thorns that might prick you; there could be crosses to carry; there could be problems to solve. You should expect turbulent times which you’ll need to endure, and storms you’ll have to brave. Under such trying circumstances, your life purpose becomes the motivation that leads you to happiness - which is essential to keeping the show on and the momentum pumping. Your life purpose helps you cross many landmarks before reaching the peak of victory and accomplishment.

Now, the dilemma for most people is the confusing task of trying to find their life purpose. Keep in mind that you will not find it instantly. In fact, many individuals leave this world without ever recognizing one. This is perhaps because the lengthy process obscured the fact that there was any purpose to discover. One’s purpose is not automatic; it’s more of an on-going expedition than a one-stop itinerary.

Change for the Better

C-H-A-N-G-E. What a dreaded word, huh? Some people try and prevent it more than planning for it, or choose to ignore it completely. Does hiding in the closet seem more appealing to you than stepping out into the light? It is true that the need to change suddenly arises out of nowhere, just as you have begun to feel safe and comfortable – then the sound of change becomes apparent at your doorstep.

Wiser people prepare for it and bravely face change. They accept the truth that change is simply inevitable. Ready or not, sooner or later everything evolves. Children grow up, and so do adults. Age multiplies. Jobs and people come and go. Relationships advance into different paths. You change, too; you might just be too busy or distracted to notice it.

The answer here is to be conscious. Your capability, duties, and power to change can actually get you to places you’ve only seen in your wildest dreams, and out of inconvenient or agonizing conditions that you thought were permanent.

Most people are tough and adaptive beings. With all our might, we are able to endure a fair amount of distressing incidents and still rise to accomplish our goals, so it’s not advisable to thrash your achievements each time something new and shiny appears.

Change only for the better, not to follow the latest trends and fashions.

How will you determine when it’s a time for change? When the queasy feeling of changing is offset by the pain of staying still, you have to evaluate the situation clearly, without a hint of blame or shame.

Discover Life

Life is considered to be the greatest thing that happened to all of us. Most of us are occupied and pre-occupied with our own lives. We don’t have that much time nor feel the need to be immersed in our society and environment that we live in. The world is influenced by a few good people who have really known the path to achieve an abundant life.

One of the most fundamental key I found in reference to the abundant life is to enjoy the season that you are living in. Rain or shine; hot or snowy, get out of the house and walk in your world. You may live in the quiet country or in a bustling city, it matters not. Get out and walk.

Taking a short walk every day, while it is great exercise for the body, it can be even more beneficial for your attitude.

Whether you live in a natural setting, that is where there are open fields or trees, rabbits or robins, really does not matter. You can even find inspiration walking along a busy avenue of shoppers and street vendors. The idea here is to soak up as much of your environment as possible by observing every little detail.

Look at everything.

In the country, what do you see, hear, and smell? Is there summer greenery or the sun sparkling off mounds of snow? What smells are in the air? Do you smell flowers, grass, corn stalks growing or a wood burning fireplace?

What sounds do you hear? Do you feel the wind, hear birds calling to each other, hear the hooves of horses as they trot through the pasture, and listen to the crunch of snow beneath your feet?

In the city, what is around you? Do you notice that Deli you never noticed before? Go inside. Smell the myriad of odors from the various meats and cheeses and from the special breads. Ask the deli clerk about some of them. What are they? How do they taste?

Are they tart, bitter, sweet, salty? Buy a sampling and surprise your taste buds! On the street, notice the signs, billboards, window displays. What do they say or sell?

Notice the people walking along. Are they in a hurry? Are they just strolling along like you? Are there couples holding hands? Is this a mother strolling with her baby? Or is there an elderly gentleman sitting alone at a sidewalk cafe’?

These are all signs, country or city, of the abundant world you are a part of that is yours to enjoy as part of your life’s experience.

Passion – What Drives You?

Seeking out passion starts with realizing who you are, and NOT what you are. It should be an inward search that will lead you to understanding your maximum potential. While it takes guts to swing from the external world to your internal world, it is the most vital and simplest of all methods. This brings about two simple questions: Who am I? and Why am I here?

In order to recognize your passions, you need to carefully evaluate your strengths and capabilities since your inner power is largely connected to your purpose. For example, if you are an excellent cook, it’s most likely that your life purpose is linked to cooking.

Take me as an example. I am a Lifestyle Business Coach because I believe that my passion is to empower and inspire people and help them transform their dreams to reality. My personal mission statement is: “To empower myself and others to live more clearly, simply, and fully.” A specific sentence like this one is a good starting point, and can help you concentrate on what you truly love and stand for.

Truly inspiring, your passion is that fire burning inside you waiting to be unleashed, which drives you in the direction of ultimate bliss. Listen to what your heart tells you. It may be a hobby or a skill that you have and definitely love to do. You’re so keen on it that you’re in no way anticipating anything in return.

You’re even willing to make some necessary sacrifices to achieve your passion, your goal, your life purpose.

Unfortunately, a large amount of people in this world live a life without any passion or purpose at all. Most of them are even oblivious to who they really are, and their greatest capabilities. In most scenarios, however, you can instinctively find your passion if you make an effort to discern it. And when you do, it becomes almost a breakthrough of some sort, giving you that much-awaited “AHA” moment.

Once found, you should cultivate your passions so that you can use them to your advantage. Modify and redefine whenever applicable. You may revise your  passions, missions, and goals if the previous ones are not working suitably.

Quite a lot of people who have earned a name in this world had no money to begin with and they started from where they were. They attained success because of determination, faith, initiative and the courage to stand by their dreams.

Getting rich comes from a state of mind. It starts and ends with mindset. Money is not everything, but money is a part of everything. It’s what you don’t know that’s preventing you from acquiring the riches you see others enjoying, and once you’ve discovered the secret, you can open the door to great riches in your life with hard work.

Positive, empowering thoughts, thoughts of your aim accompanied with faith and belief and attributed with emotion, consciously make you think and grow rich. Your thoughts are your seeds to growth. You will be the one whom you think yourself to be.

One sound thought is all you need to achieve success. Success starts with a state of mind, definiteness of purpose and hard work. Success comes to those who become success conscious. Anyone can shape their life the way they want if they have a definite thought in their minds.
