“Failures are divided into two classes- Those who thought and never did, and those who did and
never thought” – John Charles Salak
Thinking is a form of mental activity that allows us to visualize the world around and to deal with it according to our desires.
“Imagine Having Anything You Want By Just ‘Thinking’ About It”—
An Abundant way of living ~ sounds wonderful doesn’t it? This will basically mean different things to different people and the definition will evolve as you grow older.
What is YOUR own definition?
For me an abundant life is an Empowered Spiritual life. Co-Creating, on purpose, a life filled with happiness and joy, peace and prosperity; a life where your deepest desires are in reality. But, what does thinking have to do with it? Mental activity ~ the random thoughts that clutter our minds as we unconsciously make our way through our day is not true “thinking”.
How many times have you heard your parent ask you, “WHAT were you thinking?” Problem with that question ~ there is no answer…you were NOT thinking, you were on auto-pilot.
The type of “thinking” that builds an abundant empowered life is intentional thought – focusing on your deepest desires. Why don’t you focus on what you REALLY want all the time?
The deeply held unconscious beliefs by you builds archetypes and patterns that lead to habits that create circumstances in your life that are not pleasing to you. Then, when you complain about it – you just create more of it. Yuck!
The nice news is that you possess all the powers to alter your life pointed out inside you. You have probably heard the sayings, “What you think about ~ you bring about.” and “As a man thinks in his heart so is he.” Isn’t it magnificent to think your way to the abundant way of living that you dream of having?
You CAN re-write the story of your life – beginning RIGHT NOW!
It is possible. Your mind have the capability to magnetize anything that it wants. You just have to believe it and incorporate some ingredients to it. Of course, this goes without saying that you’ll be required to take action towards it.
Frankly speaking, you need to understand how powerful this technique is. Your thoughts attract things to you just like a magnet, bad or good.
Think what an amazing and extraordinary thing it is to be you! Of all the people who have come and gone on the earth, since the start of time, not ONE of them is like YOU!
Everyone has their own unique qualities.
No one who has ever lived or is to come has had your combination of abilities, talents, appearance, friends, acquaintances, burdens, sorrows and opportunities.
No, one’s hair grows exactly the way yours does. No one’s finger prints are similar as yours. No one has the similar combination of secret inside jokes and family expressions that you know. The few people who laugh at all the same things you do; don’t sneeze the way you do. Don’t eat the way you do, and don’t sleep the way you do. No one prays about exactly the same concerns as you do. No one is loved by the same combination of people that love you – NO ONE!
NO ONE BEFORE – AND NO ONE TO COME – You are absolutely one of a kind! You have to seize the moment and savor your uniqueness. You do not have to mock someone or pretend that you are somebody. You are not meant to be the same. You do not have to lie to conceal the parts of you that are not like what you see in anyone else.
You were meant to be different. Nowhere ever in all of history of mankind will the same things be going on in anyone’s mind, soul and spirit as are going on in yours right now. If you did not exist, there would be a hole in creation, a gap in history, something missing from the plan for humankind. Nurture and seize the moment of your uniqueness. It is the only gift that is given to you. You have to savor it.
No one can reach out to others in the same way that you can. No one can speak your words. No one can convey your meanings. No one can comfort with your kind of comfort. No one can bring your kind of understanding to another person. No one can be funky and light hearted in your manners. No one can mimic your own smile. Signature, isn’t it? No one else can supplement the whole package to another individual.
Share your uniqueness. Let it be freely flowing out among your family and friends and people you meet in the rush and clutter of living wherever you are. God has given this kind of gift to you so you have to enjoy and make the most out of it, and of course, you have to share it. You have to give yourself away.
See it! Receive it! Let it tickle you! Let it inform you and nudge you and inspire you! YOU
Self-confidence or self-esteem is an individual’s conviction in his own skills and power of judgment. Simply put, if you believe in yourself, you possess self-confidence.
If you don’t trust your abilities, and you always have doubts and fears about yourself, you must be suffering from lack of self-confidence. Furthermore, you are also uncertain of yourself and constantly hesitate when you need to take care of your responsibilities.
On the other hand, a confident person makes an excellent leader; he encourages people to depend on his own capabilities. He also has authority over his emotions and regularly rises to the top effortlessly.
Although it is pretty normal to feel excited yet scared when you’re taking on a new task, or anything new for that matter, a self-assured person would look at it as an opportunity in a cool, composed manner – without any detracting thoughts, such as “what if I fail?” and “what if people don’t like what I do?” In short, there shouldn’t be any apprehensions and excuses.
Reminiscent of your first day at school, stepping into unfamiliar grounds is undoubtedly scary. Of course it is, but how can it not be? Taking a plunge into untested waters gives anyone the creeps. It’s human nature.
However, being human does not give you the leeway to shy away from being daring and pushing yourself to be much more of what you can be. Beat yourself! If you have that blazing desire, passion and eagerness to accomplish something, nothing and no one in the world could prevent you – except YOU.
Happiness is a perfume you cannot pour on others without getting a few drops on yourself. – Ralph Waldo Emerson
Living a purposeful life has numerous benefits and rewards. It primarily adds significance to every little thing you do, and shows that you are on the right path towards discovering the “Amazing You.” Apart from uncovering a clear direction in which you should head, it also provides fulfillment, which is very crucial to staying happy and content, and is definitely a great motivational factor.
Nevertheless, failure and rejection are part and parcel of life. No one ever said that life is a bed of roses. Along the way, there could be thorns that might prick you; there could be crosses to carry; there could be problems to solve. You should expect turbulent times which you’ll need to endure, and storms you’ll have to brave. Under such trying circumstances, your life purpose becomes the motivation that leads you to happiness - which is essential to keeping the show on and the momentum pumping. Your life purpose helps you cross many landmarks before reaching the peak of victory and accomplishment.
Now, the dilemma for most people is the confusing task of trying to find their life purpose. Keep in mind that you will not find it instantly. In fact, many individuals leave this world without ever recognizing one. This is perhaps because the lengthy process obscured the fact that there was any purpose to discover. One’s purpose is not automatic; it’s more of an on-going expedition than a one-stop itinerary.
